PRODUCTION STAGES

From resin selection to finished film roll

01

RESIN & FORMULA SELECTION

Polymer grade, additive mix, and coextrusion structure are specified according to application. Polyethylene film production parameters differ substantially from barrier film packaging requiring EVOH or nylon layers.

02

EXTRUSION & CALENDERING

Molten polymer is extruded through a die at controlled temperature and speed. Gauge uniformity and surface finish are managed through calendering rolls. Consistent extrusion conditions determine film optical clarity and mechanical performance.

03

SLITTING & WINDING

Master rolls are slit to specified widths and wound to client-defined roll weights. Accurate slitting prevents edge tracking issues on filling and wrapping equipment, maintaining line speed and reducing film waste.

04

INSPECTION & DISPATCH

Each finished roll is checked for gauge consistency, slit width, and surface defects before labelling and palletizing. Flexible packaging supplier dispatch is coordinated with client production schedules to prevent supply gaps.

FLEXIBLE FILM MATERIALS

Flexible film materials are selected based on tensile requirements, seal integrity, and compatibility with filling equipment. Coextrusion structures can combine barrier, seal, and mechanical layers in a single film for efficient packaging line performance.
